Cristiano Ronaldo’s Five Goals and Three Assists in September Earn Him Saudi Pro League Player of the Month

Ronaldo Wins Saudi Pro League Player of the Month

At 38 years old, the five-time Ballon d’Or winner is not showing any signs of slowing down. In September, Cristiano Ronaldo scored five goals and registered three assists to add to his tally, making it 10 goals so far this season.

Ronaldo’s goals have been instrumental, helping Al-Nassr win six of their opening eight games. However, the Saudi Pro League is proving highly competitive, given that the winning streak has only managed to place Al-Nassr 4th on the table.

Ronaldo’s age-defying exploits this season are at par with his output last season, and we’re only 8 games in. At the national team level, he’s still producing the goods with five goals in Euro 2024 qualifying, making him Portugal’s top scorer.

This is Cristiano Ronaldo’s second month in a row as the Saudi Pro League’s player of the month. With a supporting cast that includes Sadio Mane, Alex Telles, Aymeric Laporte, and Marcelo Brozovic, among others, Ronaldo has enough to ensure he continues his excellent run of form.

Al-Nassr are playing catch-up after losing to Al-Ettifaq and Al-Taawoun early in the season. Ronaldo’s prowess has been instrumental in ensuring they don’t fall behind as they chase the title.
