Richarlison Expected to Move to the Saudi Pro League as Tottenham Line up Move for Dominic Solanke as His Replacement

Richarlison Places His Fist on His Chest During A Past Match For Tottenham Hotspur.

English Premier League side Tottenham Hotspur are preparing for life without Richarlson by targeting AFC Bournemouth striker Dominic Solanke. Richarlison has reportedly agreed terms with an unnamed Saudi Pro League side, with Al Ahli the most likely destination.

Earlier in the transfer window, Richarlison rubbished reports of his Saudi move as fake news. However, with the latest news, it looks like Al Ahli were able to sell him on their project. Al Ahli are looking to replace former Newcastle winger Allan Saint-Maximin, who left to join Jose Mourinho’s Fenerbahçe on loan.

Richarlison, 27, arrived at Spurs from Everton on a £65 Million deal and has since made 55 League appearances, scoring only 12 times and securing 7 assists. While he scored a single Premier League goal in his first season, he improved and scored 11 in his second season.

However, manager Ange Postecoglou is looking to rejig his forward line by sanctioning Richarlison’s transfer to Al Ahli and using the funds to bring in Solanke. The bid from Al Ahli will need to be a huge one, given that Spurs are looking to use the money to pay Solanke’s £65 million release clause.

Al Ahli will be getting a flair player who is decent on the wing and retains the ball while drawing a lot of fouls. His ability to cut inside can be beneficial when working with a mobile and clinical forward line. Richarlison is also unafraid to drop back and help the team defensively.
