Kevin De Bruyne and Mohamed Salah Lead the List of Saudi Arabia Transfer Targets Ahead of 2024
After disrupting the summer transfer window and attracting household names to the Middle East, the Saudi Pro League shows no signs of stopping.
They set their sights on Manchester City midfielder Kevin De Bruyne and Liverpool’s talisman Mohamed Salah for the January window.
Both players are under contract at their respective clubs and have been impactful in the Premier League and the Champions League in recent seasons. However, it remains to be seen whether they will be interested in the Saudi Project.
Saudi already pursued Mohamed Salah in the summer window, with reports indicating a bid made to Liverpool with a value upward of £150 million. Although Liverpool held firm and kept their prized asset, it has always been assumed that Saudi Arabia will be back for the Egyptian forward.
Kevin De Bruyne has started this season with injury problems following a treble-winning season with Manchester City. He is among Manchester City’s finest players, and a move to the SPL could be a blow for the Premier League champions.
If one or both players moved to the SPL, it could be a major statement of intent from the powers that be in Saudi Arabia and for the Saudi Project.
