Al Hilal’s Yassine Bounou and Jorge Jesus Scoop Goalkeeper and Manager of The Month Awards
With one clean sheet and a single goal conceded in two matches in February, Yassine Bounou is the Saudi Pro League’s goalkeeper of the month. As a sign of how much Al Hilal is shining in the SPL, the Manager of the Month award also goes to coach Jorge Jesus, who saw his side score five and concede a solitary goal in February.
Prior to the league’s resumption, Al Hilal played Al Nassr in a club friendly and emerged the winners with a two-nil scoreline. The league leaders are in good form, having played and won five matches in February in all competitions. They have managed an aggregate scoreline of 13-3 in those five matches.
Al Hilal has proven to be a force to reckon with their all-round work rate and the team play involved in their results. Even when top scorer Aleksandar Mitrovic was missing through suspension in the Al Ittihad match, the team relied on two of their homegrown to deliver the three points.
