Magnificent Cristiano Ronaldo Makes It Two Hat Tricks in 72 Hours in 8-0 Routing of Abha
Al Nassr’s captain displayed his GOAT prowess in the exceptional 8-0 win of Saudi Pro League strugglers Abha. The Al Tai hat trick over the weekend makes it two hat tricks in 72 hours for the five-time Ballon d’Or winner.
The exceptional Ronaldo has 65 hattricks in his senior career and stands at 29 league goals this season. With eight games left in the season, Cristiano will only need to score six goals to beat Abderrazak Hamdallah’s all-time scoring record of 34 league goals.
Ronaldo started the match with intent, converting two early freekicks within ten minutes of each other. In true Cristiano fashion, his hattrick was nothing if not fashionable, as he made an impudent chip in the 42nd minute.
Sandwiched between Ronaldo’s second and third goal was a Sadio Mane effort in the 33rd minute. Shortly before halftime, Cristiano turned provider with an assist for Abdulmajeed Al Sulaiheem to make it 5-0 for Al Nassr as the teams went for halftime.
Cristiano Ronaldo has now hit double figures in both goals and assists after his assist for Al Sulaiheem. He ranks joint top with ten assists in the Saudi Pro League. Joining him at the top of the charts are Ruben Neves (Al Hilal) and Riyad Mahrez (Al Ahli).
