Saudi Pro League Clubs Target Kieran Trippier
Newcastle United right-back Kieran Trippier has become a target for Saudi Pro League clubs. According to the recent rumours, his future has yet to be determined.
Trippier, 33, has a year left in his contract with the Magpies, and, so far, an extension has not been offered to the English defender.
Even at this age, Trippier has been an instrumental part of Newcastle. Letting him go will mean Valentino Livramento will be the first choice, while Emil Krafth will serve as a backup.
Newcastle are waiting on the bid for the right-back. Eddie Howe noted it would not make sense for the club to sell him at a lower price.
Trippier was a key player for England during the Euro 2024. Playing as a left-back, he was replaced by Luke Shaw in the final, which England eventually lost against Spain 2-1.
