“The Last Dance Will Not Be Televised” Cristiano Ronaldo Ruled Out Of Inter Miami Game
The highly anticipated face-off between competitive rivals Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo will not happen. It was widely expected that the Inter Miami and Al Nassr game would involve both legends, but a calf injury will keep Cristiano out of the match.
Speaking to the press, Al Nassr’s manager Luis Castro confirmed that Cristiano was nursing a calf injury. The five-time Ballon d’Or winner missed the previous match in China, but the club did not disclose the nature of his medical issue.
Confirming that Ronaldo would miss the Inter Miami game, Castro said, ”Ronaldo is in the final part of his recovery to join the group. We hope that in the next few days, you can start working with the team, but he will be absent from the game.”
After losing 3-4 to Al Hilal, Inter Miami will be looking forward to the Al Nassr game to prove themselves against Saudi Pro League opposition. Will Ronaldo missing, they might have a good chance of redemption.
