Victor Osmihen Angrily Reacts to Khvicha Kvaratskhelia’s Agent: “Keep My Name Out of Your Mouth” After He Suggested He’d Be Heading to Saudi Arabia

Earlier this week, when speaking to a journalist, Mamuka Jugeli, Khvicha Kvaratskhelia’s agent said, “I’m telling you now, he will go to play in Saudi Arabia in the summer. Napoli increased Osimhen’s contract, but Khvicha would not accept a transfer to Saudi not even if I offered him a billion”. The agent suggested that despite Osimhen signing a new contract earlier this season, he’d be open to moving to the Saudi Pro League in the summer.

Clearly offended by the statement, Osimhen took to Instagram to launch a foul-mouthed tirade, calling Jugeli a disgrace whose sense of reasoning was embarrassing. The Nigerian forward went on to say, “Dumb f—! KEEP MY NAME OUT OF YOUR MOUTH!”. Osimhen’s agent followed it with a more diplomatic statement: “These words create problems for my player Victor Osimhen with Napoli fans without any reason or real of the reality. We have just signed a contract renewal, and Victor’s only wish, in addition to the Africa Cup of Nations, is to help Napoli. Everything else is rubbish.”

Given the raw and visceral reaction, it is clear that Osimhen wishes to preserve his relationship with Napoli fans amidst the team’s struggles this season. Having signed a lucrative contract this season, he’ll be keen to stay in Italy, and any Saudi Pro League side that wishes to secure his signature will have to move on to other targets.
