Juventus Reject Al Ittihad’s €30 Million Offer For Matías Soulé, 20-Year Old To Remain On Loan At Frosinone
According to Frosinone director Guido Angelozzi, despite a €30 Million bid from Al Ittihad, Matias Soulé will remain at the club after the player and his parent club, Juventus, rejected the offer.
The 20-year-old Argentine has been in fine form this season, making 20 Serie A appearances for Frosinone, scoring nine goals and assisting one. According to Angelozzi, Soulé opted to honor his commitment to stay at Frosinone for the rest of the season and weigh his options in the summer.
Al Ittihad may try again in the summer, but it is unlikely that Soulé will be interested in the move at this stage. Having gained consistency through regular playing time at Frosinone, Soulé has made a name for himself in Serie A and beyond. He’s attracted the interest of several English clubs, including Newcastle, Crystal Palace and Southampton. Additionally, he may want to return to his parent club, Juventus, and fight for a starting berth in the team. With the interest in the player, it seems his Saudi adventure may not happen, at least in this window and in the summer.
