Al Hilal Manager Jorge Jesus Reveals Neymar Is In Line To Return to The Pitch Early Next Season
After their marquee signing missed the entire season, Al Hilal will be looking to count on Neymar in the first few months of next season. The Brazilian forward has been recovering from a crucial ligament tear he suffered in October 2023 on international duty.
Speaking on the possible timeline for Neymar’s return, Al Hilal manager Jorge Jesus noted that the forward is in a crucial phase of his recovery. Jesus said, “We are hopeful he might be ready to rejoin the team and start practicing by September or October.” The superstar is working hard to add to his four Al Hilal appearances.
Al Hilal has barely shown signs of missing the world-class forward, with players like Aleksandar Mitrovic (27 league goals), Malcolm (14), and Salem Al Dawsari (13) having stepped up in his absence.
However, with the financial muscle of teams like Al-Ittihad, Al-Ahli, and Al-Nassr, the competition will only get tougher next season. This means Neymar will be coming in at the right time to take the Saudi Pro League champions to the next level.
