Neymar Pours Cold Water on Reports of Rift Between Him and Manager Jorge Jesus
Al-Hilal ace Neymar has called reports of a rift between him and his Al-Hilal manager Jorge Jesus “bullsh*t” and “fake news.”
Writing on Instagram, Neymar rubbished an aggregator’s report establishing that he had asked Al-Hilal to sack manager Jesus. The Brazilian record goalscorer made the move to Al-Hilal in the summer, leaving PSG to start his endeavor in the Saudi Pro League.
Neymar’s performance in Al-Hilal’s 1-1 stalemate away to Damac has especially come in for criticism for his lack of impact and dynamism.
However, the former Barcelona forward has completed 90 minutes just twice since moving to the Saudi Pro League. He is still working toward full fitness and match fitness. Once he gains his best physical conditioning, he will be able to show his best attributes and impact matches.
Al-Hilal and Neymar will be in action in the King Cup of Champions on Monday when they play against Al-Jabalain. For the Brazilian, he will be looking to move on from that poor showing at Damac.
