“One of the Best in the World:” Al-Hilal Boss Jorge Jesus Tells Cristiano Ronaldo

Jorge Jesus Hopes Cristiano is Fit for the Riyadh Season Cup

Al-Hilal manager Jorge Jesus was effusive when he talked about Cristiano Ronaldo ahead of his side taking on Al-Nassr in the Riyadh Season Cup.

Ronaldo, who plays for Al-Nassr, Al-Hilal’s main rivals for the Saudi Pro League, has been in fine form this season. The Portuguese has been instrumental for his side as they have sought to make it interesting at the top of the SPL table against Jorge Jesus’ Al-Hilal.

Speaking to reporters, Jorge Jesus said: “This is a preparation game, we have not competed for five weeks. It will be an important game to keep the team at strong physical levels. I hope it will be a good game and that there will be no confusion between the players. Ronaldo? It would be good if he was already recovered from his injury. This is a spectacular game, and he is one of the best in the world. I hope he plays. It will be a good preparation game and that is what we want.”

Jesus will hope that his side can contain Ronaldo, like they did last time the two sides met. Back in December, Al-Hilal defeated Al-Nassr 3-0. However, Ronaldo’s Al-Nassr are unbeaten in their last seven outings in all competitions since the defeat to Al-Hilal.
