Ronaldo Cannot Stop Scoring as Another Goal Helps Al-Nassr to Yet Another Win
Al-Nassr romped to a 3-1 win against Al-Raed on Saturday to make it four consecutive victories in the Saudi Pro League as they maintain their momentum and look to climb the table.
Cristiano Ronaldo headlined the scoring by grabbing the third goal for Al-Nassr in the 78th minute.
Sadio Mane opened the scoring in the 45th minute as Al-Nassr broke down a stubborn Al-Raed side. Talisca doubled the scoring in the 49th minute, giving Al-Nassr some breathing space. Ronaldo capped an excellent win for Al-Nassr in the 78th minute.
Al-Red got a consolation goal in the 89th minute to reduce the arrears. Mohamed Fouzair converted from the spot. Al-Raed had to play the entirety of the second half with ten men after Bander Whaeshi was sent off in the 47th minute.
Ronaldo’s goal was his seventh this season. This means the Portuguese captain is the leading top scorer in the Saudi Pro League, one goal ahead of Al-Hilal’s Salem Aldawsari and his teammate Sadio Mane.
Four players are tied on five goals, including Al Hilal duo Malcom, Aleksandar Mitrovic, and last season’s top scorer, Abderrazak Hamdallah.
