Cristiano Ronaldo Requests Al Nassr Hierarchy to Sign Liverpool’s Luis Dias and His National Teammate Bernardo Silva

Cristiano Ronaldo Asks Al Nassr To Sign Two Forwards

With Al Nassr playing second fiddle to Al Hilal all season, their star player, Cristiano Ronaldo, is aware of the radical changes needed to improve the team’s competitiveness. Cristiano has reportedly asked the club to sign two players from the Premier League under 30 to add creativity to the squad.

First up is Cristiano’s international teammate Bernardo Silva, who plys his trade for Manchester City. With two years left on his contract, Silva is a gettable target, but with City having no pressure to sell, it might be a challenging transfer. So far this season, he’s made over 40 appearances, scoring ten times and claiming five assists.

At Manchester City, Phil Foden is an emerging talent that might starve Bernado of minutes in the coming seasons. However, Al Nassr may need to look elsewhere if the club does not feel the pressure to sell and the player feels he’s not keen on moving to the Saudi Pro League.

The second name on Ronaldo’s shopping list is Liverpool’s Luis Dias, who has a contract with the Reds up to 2027. His 13 goals and four assists have come in 44 appearances, proving how integral he is to the squad. However, Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp is leaving at the end of the season, and a new manager may prefer the other options available. Diogo Jota, Cody Gakpo, and Darwin Nunez all play on the left flank and could convince the new manager that he can go into the new season without Dias.

It remains to be seen whether Al Nassr will grant Cristiano his wishes. Regardless, Ronaldo has suffered this season for carrying the goalscoring burden alone, especially with Anderson Talisca injured. Competing with Al Hilal next season will require more firepower, with players in their prime capable of delivering.
