“I’ll be here this year and the next,” Cristiano Ronaldo Commits to Al-Nassr Until 2025
Hot on the heels of helping Al-Nassr come from behind to beat Damac 2-1 in a hotly and closely contested clash in the Saudi Pro League, Cristiano Ronaldo has provided better news for the Al-Nassr faithful by committing himself to the club for two more years.
After the match, the Portuguese shared his views on the performance, the match, and his future.
Ronaldo indicated “It takes time to switch focus back to the league. Damac is a very good team, and conceding a goal in the first half made it even more challenging.”
“However, in the second half, we gave a good answer. We played well and managed to score two goals. In my opinion, we deserved to win,” he stated.
Ronaldo highlighted the importance of hard work when asked about his fitness levels and how he maintains his high standards and performance levels: “As I’ve said many times, I treat my body well, and my body helps me. At 38 years old, I can still play football, but without my teammates, nothing would be possible.”
Ronaldo appeared to be generally happy about his situation in Saudi Arabia, saying “Thank you to the Saudi people. They make me happy, and I hope I make them happy too.”
This is good news for Al-Nassr and the Saudi Pro League that an A-lister like Ronaldo will be around for another two years. Given his level of performance and the standards he is setting, all involved would love to have him.
