West Ham’s Said Benrahma ‘Targeted by Saudi Pro League Clubs’ with Moyes’ Side Open to a Deal if the Right Offer is Lodged

Benrahma A Saudi Target for with West Ham Open to a Sale

West Ham winger Said Benrahma has been linked with a move to the Saudi Pro League in the January transfer window.

The Sun are reporting that if a suitable offer is made, Benrahma could switch to the Middle East as soon as January. The report indicates that Benrahma’s new agent has robust ties with leading clubs in Saudi Arabia and that he could be looking to move his client to the emergent league.

Benrahma’s representative has been in London to meet with West Ham officials, including David Motes, the manager. The links to the Middle East have been fueled by the fact that Benrahma is not guaranteed a place in the starting lineup, which makes it easier for West Ham to consider sanctioning his sale.

Benrahma is among some of the talented players being targeted for the January window by Saudi clubs. West Ham will look to get a good fee for the player considered talented by many at the club and in the Premier League.

It remains to be seen whether Benrahma could consider staying in the Premier League if other clubs made offers. Or whether the allure of the Saudi Pro League could be too strong to lead him to leave for the Saudi Pro League.
