Al Nassr Table €65 Million Bid for Raphinha With Arsenal Also Interested in the Brazilian
Reports in Spanish media say Al Nassr have presented Barcelona with a €65 million bid for Raphinha. The Brazilian winger, whose contract expires in 2027, has also attracted interest from Arsenal who are exploring a bid but are yet to enter into concrete talks with either party.
With Al Nassr keen on offering Cristiano Ronaldo assistance in attack, Raphinha would be a welcome addition to the squad. However, Barcelona are playing hardball and holding out for a higher bid. The player has not expressed an indication to leave so the club is happy keeping him in La Liga.
However, Barcelona are reportedly pursuing Nico Williams and Dani Olmo with a view of signing either or both of them. Should one or both deals materialize, Raphinha will fall further down the pecking order and will need to find a new club if he is to maintain playing regularly.
Al Nassr are calm and know they are in a strong bargaining position. Due to Barcelona’s challenging financial position, they need to sell players to fund arrivals. Arsenal are only exploring a move and are yet to make an approach and they are not expected to match Al Nassr’s bid. Barca need the transfer to happen quickly to leave them time to sign their targets, leaving Al Nassr with the upper hand. Should the player okay the move, Al Nassr are bound to get their man.
