The Saudi Pro League’s Al-Nassr Want to United Manchester City’s Kevin De Bruyne with Cristiano Ronaldo
According to Italian journalist Rudy Galetti, Al-Nassr are showing serious interest in signing Manchester City’s Kevin De Bruyne and having the midfielder line up alongside Cristiano Ronaldo in the Saudi Pro League.
Galetti posted on X (formerly Twitter): “Al-Nassr contacted De Bryne’s agent to set up a meeting with the player soon.”
“The aim of the club is to explain in detail its long-term project to the attacking midfielder, whose contact with Manchester City will expire in 2025.”
De Bruyne, 32, is one of the most talented players in the world today. He has been impactful for Manchester City and has grabbed 96 goals and 153 assists for the Etihad club. The Belgian has also helped City go all the way to winning their maiden Champions League last season. City have also won five Premier Leagues, five League Cups, two FA Cups, and a UEFA Super Cup.
De Bruyne is having an injury-disrupted season so far. With his contract set to run out in 2025, there have been questions about the Belgian’s future at the Etihad.
Manchester City will have to evaluate the situation further. However, if De Bruyne wants to leave, City and Guardiola might not stand in his way, making it a distinct possibility that De Bruyne could line up alongside Ronaldo in the Saudi Pro League and Al-Nassr’s yellow.
