Al Nassr Considering Loaning Out Sadio Mané With Senegalese Forward Reportedly Uncomfortable at the Club

After leaving Bayern Munich on a sour note, Sadio Mané found his way to the Saudi Pro League, where he signed for Cristiano Ronaldo’s Al Nassr in 2023. Despite a decent output of 19 goals in the 2023-24 season, the Senegalese forward is reportedly looking for a way out of the club.

Sadio Mané was an integral figure for Al Nassr in the just-concluded 2023-24 season. He made 50 appearances in all competitions and scored 19 goals. Despite seemingly setting well on the pitch, the former Liverpool forward is said to be unsettled.

At 32, Sadio Mané is not looking to return to Europe. He understands that his age might make finding a club that meets his wage demands challenging. Instead, he is considering a move to another Saudi Pro League team, with Al Ittihad showing interest.

With two years left on his contract, a loan move might be ideal, as Al Nassr is not ready to completely let go of one of its most prized assets. The hope is that a temporary change of scenery will help Mané find his footing again and hopefully be an asset for Al Nassr upon return for the final season of his contract.
