Al Ittihad Targeting an English Premier League Double Swoop for Mohamed Salah And Son Heung-min

Al Ittihad Target Son and Salah To Revamp Underperforming Squad

Al Ittihad will be looking to add star power to their underperforming side during the summer window, with the club looking at Liverpool’s Mohamed Salah and Tottenham Hotspurs’ Son Heung-min.

This will not be the first time the Saudi Pro League side targets Salah, having placed a €175 million bid on him last summer. At the time, both player and club were not willing to discuss the offer with the Egyptian set on staying at Anfield. However, with changes coming at the Merseyside club in the summer with the departure of manager Jurgen Klopp, Al Ittihad has a good chance of finally getting their man.

Al Ittihad will also explore a move for Spurs captain Son Heung-min whose contract only has a year left. The South Korean captain has been an important part of the team with his 12 goals and 6 assists so far this season. Known to be a tough negotiator, Spurs Daniel Levy will not make it easy for Al Ittihad, especially with the fear that losing their best player two summers in a row (Harry Kane last summer) might negatively impact the team quality.
