Al Hilal Is Close to Signing Aleksandar Mitrović to Form Attack with Neymar
Al Hilal, from Saudi Arabia, made a proposal of £46 million for striker Aleksandar Mitrovic, 28, from Fulham.
Al Ahli, Neymar’s new team in the Saudi Pro League, has already had several offers rejected by the English side Fulham for the Serbian center forward. However, the new contact is already much closer to Fulham’s valuation of Mitrovic, a key squad member.
Mitrovic wants to leave Fulham. After forcing a transfer, he was dropped from the main squad and did not participate in pre-season in the United States. In the end, he ended up being reinstated and even participated in the 1st round of the Premier League, in the 1-0 victory over Everton.
However, Al Hilal’s new proposal once again raises questions about his future. In a recent interview, Fulham manager Marco Silva said he would love to keep Mitrovic in his squad but knows the situation is complex.
